DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
At this time we do accept some insurance plans, but not all. However, we can provide you with a super-bill (receipt for services) that you can provide to your insurance for reimbursement or you can download the Better app located on the insurance and fee's page. Keep in mind that with insurance you would require a diagnosis and run into issue's with future endeavors in the event you are diagnosed, and these records are requested. If you have additional questions or concerns please call the office directly at 972-213-2549
HOW OFTEN DO I COME TO THERAPY?
After the first in-person session the frequency of therapy should be determined at that time.
DO YOU OFFER ONLINE THERAPY?
Online therapy is provided to those in the state of Texas. Depending on the severity of your concerns you may be asked to come to see your therapist in person.
HOW LONG ARE THERAPY SESSIONS?
Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes long. For children under ten, they may last for 35 minutes. Please note if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your session that is considered a late cancellation which would result in referring to the cancellation policy below.
DO YOU OFFER CONSULTATIONS?
We sometimes offer 15 minute consultations depending on the business demand. We try our best to answer as many questions as we can and ensure the client and therapist are a good fit. So while not all will receive a 15 minute consultation, our admin does have expertise in matching therapist with client. Not to mention all of the bio's for the clinicians are listed under the "The Team" tab.
DO YOU CHARGE A CANCELLATION FEE?
Yes. You will be charged or billed a cancellation fee if you no show or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours prior. The cancellation fee is $75 and is not covered by your insurance provider. While you may receive an appointment reminder you should still keep a record of your appointment on your own. All fee's need to be paid prior to scheduling another appointment. Keep in mind that when you make an appointment that time is blocked off for you. Most therapists have waiting lists. So when someone doesn't make it to their appointment or doesn't cancel in time that's not fair to the therapist or the person who is waiting for an appointment but can't get in.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO MAKE CHANGES TO OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Please understand that not making a change to your appointment promptly can cause someone in dire need of the spot to have to go without. Because of this, I ask that you make changes or cancellations before 24 hours of your appointment.
DO YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATION?
A therapist can't prescribe medication. A medical doctor, psychiatrist, and psychologist can prescribe medication. However, if you are currently taking medication we can work with you on medication management and education.
