Tenaya Wade graduated from Walden University with a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. In order to learn more ways to continue her service within the community, she is currently working on her Ph. D. in Human and Social Services. Tenaya has a plethora of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults who have a current or history of trauma. Tenaya has experience in working in a psychiatric setting composed of diagnoses that range from major clinical depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. She also has experience in working with women who have been subjected to domestic violence. While Tenaya is passionate about working with all who come her way she is particularly skilled in working with those who have had traumatic experiences as well as tweens and teens. Tenaya is also passionate about working with individuals with depression, trauma, anxiety, and grief. Tenaya is trained in EMDR, a certified yoga instructor, and Certified Trauma Professional.
Tenaya is available: Tuesday and Friday (Downtown) 9am-3pm and Thursday(online) (10am-8pm) and Saturday (8am-3pm) (Garland)
Tenaya’s rates range $80-$140 for self pay clients. Tenaya does accept most insurance plan such as: BCBS, United Healthcare, UMR, BSW, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Morneau & Sheppel, Traditional Medicaid, EAP Works, Cascade, Multiplan, IMS-PPO, and Optum.
